Baba Yaga is one of the first songs I ever wrote but it took nearly two decades to record and release it. Performed extensively with an earlier musical incarnation (The Fenbi International Superstars) I now include it within folkefire sets whenever the mood strikes. Slava Ukraini!

I started folkefire with a mission: to earn a million dollars performing mediocre music by taking my gig money and investing it into a broad-based index fund in my ROTH IRA, maxing out my contribution each calendar year. On Monday, St. Paddy’s Day, I performed a gig with a couple of friends. Our set included traditional Irish songs, originals, and folk classics from Billy Bragg, Bruce Springsteen and others.
